Drupal community provides developers and site builders with some nice tools for SEO. You'll have to invest some time to get results anyway, but the hard part, developing the tools, is done. This is a list of the modules and features you can use:

In order to manually add meta tags to our content, just install Metatag module. Drupal 7 version is still alpha but moving on. Slowly, but moving.
