"Barebones" is a wireframe theme, and one of the smallest you'll ever find, with less than 10 ks of clean, well annotated code.
A wireframe theme is an empty theme for designers that want to build their own site using only their own stuff. Building a theme for any CMS usually involves removing almost all elements from the default theme, then adding their own elements. Using Barebones, the time you'll use for removing will be almost ZERO. Just remove CSS file's first line of code and you're ready to go.
